VVMS Mission Statement
At Valley View Middle School, we provide students a curriculum with TEA standards as its foundation and higher education as its goal. With these, delivered in motivational and inspirational ways, our students will learn the knowledge and skills to prepare them to be productive members of society. Their learning is measured with testing, college-prep activities and their interaction with peers and adults. When learning is not taking place as it should, we implement interventions one on one, with parents, and in team meetings. We strive to create an interactive circle of support for our students by linking together teachers, parents, administration and the community. Our students engage in their own learning through goal setting, their connections with others, demonstrations of the value of education, and with a positive attitude.
