Our Vision

The J.M. Hanks DECA program provides meaningful experience in business and marketing excellence to its students by actively employing business best-practices in order to operate in the fashion of a world-class organization that consistently delivers the greatest possible customer value and service, while representing and advancing our DECA program and school with pride.

Our Mission

The J.M. Hanks DECA Chapter will be the #1 chapter in El Paso. Our success, like the DECA Diamond, will be achieved through excellence on four strategic points:

  1. Our Class will be an organized, energetic & professional work environment in which learning marketing and management best-practices is our top priority.
  2. We will use the study of organizations to bring corporate excellence to our class and Our Efforts in Competition. In this area, we will strive to leave our chapter with more knowledge and better prepared than we began the year.
  3. We will maximize the reciprocal nature of our chapters' relationship with Our Workplaces. Our success in one drives the success of the other.
  4. The Knights Quarters is vital to our existence financially, in learning and applying marketing excellence, and in establishing our chapter's presence on campus and in our community. In this area, we will utilize variety of goods & services and convenience as our competitive advantage to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. The DECA Diamond illustrates our Core Values:
