Using Creative Publishing: 

• Please go to the Creative Publishing web site.
  
• Once at the website, click on the Popup Book under the pictures of books. 
• Directions will appear on how to create a Popup Book.
• Note that it refers to PDF directions. Go to the top of the page and click on the link to PDF/Direction Files.
  
• Click on Popup Book. Directions with pictures in PDF format will download to your desktop.
• Click on the PDF form and take a look at it.
• Next go to the top of the page and click on the link to DOC/HTML Files.
• Click on the link to Popup Book Template. The Popup Book Template will download to your desktop.
• Open the template on your desktop. Create a sample page.

Creating Other Books: 

• Other templates on the page work in the same way.
• The pictures of the books contain written directions.
• PDF files download on your desktop with step by step directions with illustrations.
• DOC/HTML Files, CWK/AppleWorks Files and Teacher CWK/PDF Files contain downloadable templates.

Utilizing Templates to Enhance Curriculum

• On the Home Page, click on the Links Icon.
• Select the link to Citation Machine.
• Click on MLA. Under Non Print, select Web Page.
• Fill the blanks to create a citation. Use the ETA website information as a sample.

• Return to the Links Icon on the Home Page.
  
• Select the link to Big6. Take a look at the link to Big6 Kids. Discuss the strategies in conducting research.
• Return to the Creative Publishing Home Page.
  
• Select DOC/HTML Files. Click on the Big6 Research Form to download this form to your desktop.
• Practice taking notes using this form.
