What is Datamart? |
DataMart is a database system that contains a variety of information used by the district. The information ranges from student demographics to TAKS results that can be viewed based on the access authorized for administration, faculty, district employees, and parents.
Once you are logged in to DataMart, you will find a set of tabs right under the DataMart logo. The number of tabs that you have will depend on your access privileges.
As you click on a tab in your DataMart system, you
will find a Focus Group menu that shows your job descriptor (i.e
instructor, administrator, principal, etc.), campus, and faculty/student
list. The information in your Focus Group depends on your access privileges. For example, a counselor have viewing privileges to the class
information of all the teachers in his or her campus, while a classroom teacher can only view the information of one's class.
