![]() How to protect your family from the Flu
Wash your hands or use alcohol hand rubs or gels after being in public or after contact with anyone with a cold or flu When coughing, turn your head and cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and promptly dispose of the used tissue; if a tissue is not available, cough into the inside of the elbow. Avoid taking young children or those whose immune systems have been weakened by disease or medication into large crowds unnecessarily. Avoid close contact (holding, kissing) between infants and anyone who has a cold or the flu. Do not share things that go into the mouth, such as drinking cups, straws, etc. If you experience respiratory illness with a fever, refrain from public activities for at least five days to prevent the spread of the infection. If you have severe or prolonged flu-like illness (fever and cough), seek medical attention. |
