Jeffrey Brown and Carlos Amaro won 3rd place in the STEM Challenge at UTEP on Saturday. After they qualified into the top ten in a field of 19 high school projects, they placed 3rd behind Coronado (1st place) and Montwood (2nd place), in the final round.

 

The STEM Challenge stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Challenge and student compete and develop their ideas into a business plan approach to help solve critical issues facing communities. The first link below is to their project.
