1. Why is Henry comforted by the sight of the retreating army?

2. What sight makes Henry feel bad again?  Why?

3. Henry almost joins the group moving back to the fight.  What thoughts stop him?

4. Henry notices his body is aching, his feet hurt, he's starving and very thirsty.  Why has he not noticed these things before?
